Who can apply?

Students must be at least 18 years of age and should have completed at least one year of higher education (college or university) at the beginning of the TecnoCampus summer program. However, registrants do not have to be enrolled in any program at the point of their registration.

Admission will not be denied on the basis of race, ethnic or national origin, creed, gender/sex, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation/identity.

Language requirements

All teaching at the Summer School is in English. Applicants must be confident and demonstrate to the organisers of the Summer School that their English is of a high enough standard for them to be able to understand and follow arguments presented in written and spoken English at university level.
We will be offering a beginners Spanish language course to participants. There will be a test on the first day of the course to ensure placement on a course suitable for the student’s level of Spanish proficiency.


TecnoCampus does not own any student dorms or housing facilities. Our University arranges appropriate off-campus accommodation for the duration of the program as an optional service at the student’s request.  The following options are available:

Accommodation is subject to availability. Please note that TecnoCampus only serves as an intermediary. We are not liable for any agreement between the two parties of renter and landlord.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation must be made in writing and received no later than, 1st June, 2017. Any cancellations received after June 1 will not be refunded.
  • A 150€  cancellation fee will be deducted from program registration refunds and a $100 (USD).
  • All requests for changes, cancellations, and refunds must be made in writing and received no later than June 1st 2017. Please send requests by  email to:

Please enquire as early as possible about visa requirements at a Spanish consulate. You should apply for a visa at the Spanish embassy or consulate in your home country. Once TecnoCampus has received all payments, we will gladly send you an invitation letter.

Health insurance

Students are obliged to have valid health insurance for the entire duration of the program. High costs may be incurred in the case of illness due to missing or incomplete insurance coverage for Spain and Europe. Therefore, please be sure that your health insurance at home is valid during your stay in Catalonia. Please note that our summer programme does not cover costs for medical treatment!

Students must send a copy of their insurance before 1st June 2017

*Tecnocampus students/alumni and students from partner universities receive a discount on the recording price
