How to get there
From the airport, you have two options to get to Mataró:
Take the airport shuttle bus to Plaça Catalunya in Barcelona. There you take a suburban train to Mataró. It takes about 40 minutes.
Take the airport train to Sants train station and change to a suburban train to Mataró. It takes about 45 minutes.
Some trains terminate at Mataró train station and others trains at Blanes or Maçanet-Massanes but all of them stop at Mataró.
Train tickets are pretty cheap: 4.5 Euros (one way).
Take the Aerobus and get off in Plaça Catalunya (terminus). You can take this bus both at T1 and T2 terminals. It runs every 5 minutes and bus fare is around 6 euros. Once you are in Plaça Catalunya, go to Ronda Universitat 21 (2 minute walk, 170 meters according to google maps) and take the “Casas” bus number C1.
There are also buses from Barcelona city centre to Mataró (Casas company), and viceversa, running every 30 minutes.
From Barcelona, head North on the C-32 Autopista/Motorway (formerly called A-19) towards Mataró/Girona. Leave the motorway at the exit “Mataró Sud” (about 25 minutes from Barcelona). You’ll come to a large roundabout with a huge metal sculpture, take the 2nd exit. TecnoCampus will be on the right.
